SpeedWorld Will Get Your Motor Running!

Way back when on trips to Cocoa Beach, I remember passing that netherworld between Orlando and the Atlantic Ocean and seeing a small racetrack near the tiny community of Bithlo. More than 40 years later, that 3/8-mile track is still here, it’s still popular and it’s still called SpeedWorld.

It’s a kick knowing that these drivers – many of which are working regular jobs to fuel their hobby – are showing up each week to pursue their passion. …

New Road Leaps from Mainland Florida to the Keys

If you drove down to Key West a few years back, it was staggering to reflect how tricky it was. The road – US 1 – was built minus some commons sense safety features (like median barriers) and that tended to make automobile skid marks seem like part of the landscape.

"Pinktober" Event: Wacky Woman Fight Cancer with Fundraising Walk 10/29
